Vicki Provost earned an MA in studio art from Western Carolina University, with a concentration in photography.  Her work has its foundations in the documentary genre, but ventures beyond the objective with spiritual connotations.

Vicki Provost has taught fine art photography courses at Western Carolina University as adjunct faculty while receiving awards in juried exhibitions.  She has exhibited at the Center for Fine Art Photography in Boulder, Colorado, and other museums and galleries in the United States and Canada.  She served as an artist in residence in both South Carolina and Alaska, and currently is a photography artist in residence at the Bascom: A Center for the Visual Arts, in Highlands, NC. 

Vicki Provost resides and maintains a studio in Western North Carolina.
